About Sarah
About Sarah’s Work
Sarah believes that given the right conditions, all people have the capacity to heal. She knows that it can be overwhelming and disorienting when painful emotions and behaviors disrupt our everyday lives, resulting in feeling disconnected, stuck and confused. Sarah uses a warm, compassionate, and authentic approach to hold space and introduce curiosity and kindness to these challenging experiences. Sarah collaborates with clients to create meaningful therapeutic goals in order to experience desired growth and healing.
Sarah's approach is rooted in the client-therapist relationship and the understanding of how trauma & other life experiences are processed in the body.
Sarah uses client's strengths and resiliencies to support with creating agency, empowerment and achieving a greater sense sense of well-being. Sarah uses a holistic approach, incorporating various modalities including Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-sensitive yoga to support clients with building a deeper relationship with our body's responses to our emotions and to aid with processing trauma.
