Somatic Practice Space

A weekly, virtual, 20-min, body-centered practice designed to bring greater connection to the body and reduce feelings of stress.

These practices are adapted from Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, and Trauma-sensitive yoga.

The Details

Somatic Practice Space will take place live via Zoom Webinar on Wednesdays at 12p EST. All sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants.

  • Week one, April 3rd: Ground & Steady

  • Week two, April 10th: Release & Let Go

  • Week three, April 17th: Back to the Present

  • Week four, April 24th: Energize

Each session will have the same agenda and structure:

  • Landing in your space

  • Engage in 1-3 somatic practices (specifically ones that are designed to evoke the feelings listed above)

  • Reflective journaling

  • Contain & Close

  • No, it is not! These sessions are led by a clinical social worker and may enhance your understanding of your emotions, but this workshop is NOT therapy.
